Their manufacturing plant tour covers a 3 million square foot assembly line facility in Detroit and features everything from the history wall, machining, part and engine block assemblies, QC testing, delivery and more! The Detroit manufacturing plant is larger than 52 football fields. A highly skilled team of 2,200 people manufactures, every day, more than 400 powerful and precisely engineered engines which drive their Freightliner and Western Star fleet of trucks, among others.
